Our Consultancy client is seeking a IBM DataPower Engineers to join on an initial contract 12 month contract with view to extend on a Defence Project.

Work Package A: IBM DataPower Upgrade
Upgrade IBM DataPower Gateway appliances across DOSD, DeBI, and SDeBI environments, replacing physical devices with virtual appliances. Tasks include provisioning VMs, updating firewall rules, installing/configuring virtual appliances, migrating configurations, testing, and cutting over to production.

Work Package B: IBM MQ & ACE Upgrade
Upgrade IBM WebSphere MQ and IBM Integration Bus (IIB) to the latest supported versions on new Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) virtual machines. Tasks include software packaging, installation, firewall updates, data migration, configuration, testing, and coordination with consumers for cutover.

Work Package C: Security Systems Upgrade
Upgrade IBM Security Directory Suite (ISDS) and IBM Security Access Manager (ISAM) to the latest versions. Migrate data, update security policies, reconfigure supporting systems, and ensure compliance through testing.
Work Package 1.2: DataPower Upgrade – CP Hosting
Migrate IBM DataPower from physical to virtual infrastructure in DeBI, DOSD, and SDeBI. Includes VM provisioning, firewall updates, phased migration, testing, and cybersecurity validation.

Work Package 4: DOSD Message Queues & Broker Upgrade
Upgrade IBM WebSphere MQ and IIB in the DOSD environment, ensuring secure, efficient messaging. Includes installation, firewall updates, data migration, and performance testing.

Work Package 5: ISAM & ISDS Upgrade
Deploy the latest IBM ISAM and ISDS versions in virtual environments. Migrate policies, reconfigure related systems, and conduct security compliance testing.
