We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Solution and Integration Lead to join our IT Pharmacy and Compounding team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing an integrated Future State Pharmacy solution, incorporating third-party commercial applications, custom-built applications, and integrations. The successful candidate will work closely with the IT Business Solutions Manager - Pharmacy, the Director of IT Strategy and Architecture, the Health Informatics Pharmacy Lead, and the project team to deliver effective technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design:

• Design a cohesive and integrated solution that aligns with the business objectives of the Future State Pharmacy Systems project.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, internal and third-party developers, and providers of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions, to ensure technical solutions meet business requirements.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, sustainable, and optimized for peak performance.
• Document and communicate solution designs to key stakeholders.
• Lead the Dispensing and Inventory Management solution stream, building strong technical relationships with vendors for end-to-end solution implementation.
• Conduct reviews of existing technology to identify areas for improvement and address business challenges.

Integration Lead:

• Lead the integration process, working closely with COTS vendors and integration partners to ensure the seamless delivery of an end-to-end IT solution.
• Produce detailed integration design documentation, including system requirements.
• Facilitate the full delivery of integration, supporting testing and troubleshooting of interfaces.
• Ensure compliance with architectural standards and best practices throughout the process.
• Resolve technical and integration issues promptly, offering expert guidance and solutions.
• Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to the Future State solution while maintaining data integrity.
• Ensure rigorous end-to-end testing of the system and manage its smooth transition to business-as-usual support.

Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience: 

• Experience designing integrated solutions across multiple hosting models (On-prem, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Proven experience in designing both front-end and back-office solutions for a variety of industries and stakeholders.
• Expertise in creating integrated technical solutions, ensuring scalability, sustainability, and high performance.

Technical Expertise:

• Demonstrated experience in leading the technical design of project implementations.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft ecosystem products and their use in solution architecture.
• Experience designing systems with integration tools, with preference for Intersystem IRIS experience.
• Proven experience collaborating with multiple vendors to deliver comprehensive, business-driven solutions.
• Familiarity with Public Cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Qualifications: 

• IT degree or equivalent qualification.
• 3-5 years of experience working as an Integration Lead.
• Experience with both On-Premises and Cloud Hosting Environments.
• Proficiency in Cloud Native Software.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure and M365.

Desirable:

• ITIL V3 Foundations or TOGAF certification.
• Experience in the health industry.
• Familiarity with cloud vendors (GCP, AWS).
