Are you a driven and experienced IT Business Analyst with a strong background in mobile apps, web portals, and API service development? OurFederal Government client is seeking a skilled professional to join a dynamic team focused on enhancing health services and improving citizen experiences through innovative technology solutions.

Location: Sydney / Brisbane / Canberra locations available
Contract: Initial 12-month contract, view to extend a further 12 months
Rate:From $800 per day + super
Australian Citizenship required for this role

Key Responsibilities:

• Gathering Requirements: Engage with business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into clear, actionable specifications for development teams.

• Process Improvement: Identify and recommend opportunities to streamline or enhance business processes through the use of digital solutions.

• Collaboration: Serve as a key liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring mutual understanding and alignment of goals.

• Documentation: Produce detailed documentation including requirements, user stories, workflows, and solution designs for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Solution Validation: Support testing and validation processes to ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations and are fit for purpose.

Technical Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in web portal, mobile app, and API service projects.

• Strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as JIRA.

• Knowledge of FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources).

• Previous Government & Health experience is highly desirable.

Essential Criteria:

1. Minimum 5 years of solid experience as an IT Business Analyst in mobile app, web portal, and API service product development.

2. Strong understanding and practical experience with Waterfall and Agile (Scrum) methodologies.

3. Demonstrated relevant skills, knowledge, qualifications, and education in IT/business analysis or a related field.

4. Must be an Australian Citizen to be eligible for engagement.
