Ping Developer | Initial 12 month contract, potential extension | Melbourne / WFH Hybrid | Large Consultancy
Key Accountabilities:
- Design and architect authentication and authorization processes using Ping Federate and Ping Authorize.
- Implement fine-grained access control policies with Ping Authorize.
- Integrate Ping Federate with various systems for Single Sign-On (SSO) and federation.
- Develop Java-based components to enhance Ping Identity solutions.
- Implement microservices architecture to ensure scalability and flexibility in IAM systems.
- Develop and maintain expertise in Ping Federate, Ping Authorize, and other Ping Identity tools.
- Create and manage authorization policies using Ping Authorize’s drag-and-drop UI.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements through centralized policy enforcement.
- Integrate Ping Identity tools with cloud and on-premises applications using Java and microservices.
- Provide technical support for Ping Federate and Ping Authorize deployments.
- Troubleshoot issues related to authentication and authorization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Ping Identity solutions.
- Develop and maintain documentation for processes and procedures related to Ping Identity products.
- 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- 3+ years of experience with Ping Federate and Ping Authorize.
- Experience with Java development and microservices architecture.
- Experience with Okta, or similar IAM platforms is a plus.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and its application in IAM.
- Strong Java programming skills with experience in developing scalable applications.
- Proficiency in SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and other identity protocols.
- Experience with LDAP, Active Directory, and other identity management systems.
- Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Experience with DevOps tools and Agile methodologies.
