Job description
Pinpoint Talent is currently seeking an experience Scrum Master for our federal government client to support the delivery of digital solutions, including mobile and web portal applications. This role is ideal for an Agile professional with strong leadership and coaching abilities who thrives in a collaborative, delivery-focused environment.
Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra locations
12-month initial term with a potential 12-month extension
From $700 per day + super
WFH Hybrid working arrangment
Role Overview
The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile ceremonies, promote continuous improvement, remove impediments to delivery, and support high-performing cross-functional teams. You will guide the team in applying Scrum principles, collaborate closely with stakeholders, and champion Agile ways of working across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and facilitate all Scrum events (e.g., sprints, retrospectives, reviews)
Coach teams on Agile principles, self-organisation, and performance
Identify and remove obstacles to delivery
Promote effective collaboration between team members, product owners, and stakeholders
Support Agile adoption and organisational change
Apply patterns and practices to enhance the Scrum process
Contribute to the success of mobile and web-based digital health projects
Essential Criteria
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master
Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices
Experience in web portal, mobile app, or API services development
Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., JIRA)
Relevant skills, knowledge, and qualifications
Ability to coach teams toward higher Agile maturity levels
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable Criteria
Experience on health and/or government sector projects
Scrum Master certification or other relevant Agile qualifications
