About the Role
As the Principal Advisor, Organisational Change, you will report to the Manager, Change Management and be responsible for providing governance and leadership in managing change initiatives across the organisation. You will engage key stakeholders, ensure buy-in, and support the integration of strategic reform objectives into the organisation’s culture and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute change management activities using established frameworks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and change champions to embed changes aligned with organisational priorities.
  • Manage governance for integrating transformation and reform activities across the organisation.
  • Develop and implement stakeholder engagement plans to align with reform initiatives.
  • Lead workforce transition planning, including IT-related considerations.
  • Facilitate transition activities into business operations, ensuring smooth integration.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior leaders on change progress, risks, and communication strategies.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and evidence-based decision-making.
Essential Requirements
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering change management strategies within large-scale projects or programs.
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary change management frameworks and methodologies.
  • Understanding of project management and business integration processes, ideally within a human services environment.
  • Experience analysing complex operational systems and processes in industrially sensitive environments.
  • Expertise in delivering transformation initiatives in large public sector or similarly complex organisations.
  • High-level interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Advanced written communication skills, including drafting formal documents and reports.
  • Knowledge of reform in complex service organisations is highly desirable.
