As a Service Designer, you will play a key role in designing end-to-end services informed by Discovery and Alpha user research. Your expertise will be crucial in developing service blueprints that map out systems, roles, processes, and interactions needed to deliver seamless and effective services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance digital transactions, products, and content while ensuring alignment with policy intent and user goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end Microsoft 365 journeys, ensuring alignment with policy intent and user goals.
- Develop comprehensive service blueprints detailing systems, roles, processes, and interactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve digital transactions, products, and content.
- Conduct user research to identify and validate pain points and critical user needs, driving service improvements.
- Communicate and advise on design decisions using insights from research.
- T-Shaped Skillset: Deep expertise in HCD user research and interaction design, with the ability to contribute across multiple project areas (communication, research, change, and strategy).
- Adaptability: Comfortable working across a wide range of tasks in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage, influence, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proactive Mindset: Self-starter attitude with a solution-oriented approach.
- Facilitation Skills: Confident in leading discussions, workshops, and collaborative sessions.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in HCD, with a proven track record in delivering impactful design outcomes and user research.
- Design Thinking: Expertise in applying design thinking principles to service development.
- User-Centred Design: Ability to prioritize user needs and create intuitive, accessible experiences.
- Collaboration: Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Research & Analysis: Ability to conduct user research, analyze data, and translate insights into actionable design improvements.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools and other relevant platforms.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in agile environments and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Effective Communication: Ability to present design concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize user flows and interactions.
- Experience conducting usability testing and iterating designs based on feedback.
- Ensuring consistency and accessibility across digital products and platforms.
- Advocacy for best practices in UX design and usability.
- Relevant certifications in Service Design, UX Design, or an equivalent field are preferred.
