As a Solutions Architect you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance, in conjunction with other specialist resources and subject matter experts, including healthcare providers, medication management product owners and policy advisors from across the Agency and the broader health sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of strategies and architectures for platform environments.

• Provide expert advice on solution development, including API Management, Identity and Access Management, Security, Mobile Apps, Websites, and Databases.

• Ensure compliance with legislative, financial, and administrative frameworks while delivering high-quality outcomes.

• Prepare technical analyses, workflows, and sequence diagrams to support business requirements and maintain the integrity of business-critical systems.

• Provide expertise in business process design, use case design, and information modelling to ensure best practices align with enterprise architecture frameworks.

• Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, engaging and collaborating to achieve outcomes and facilitate cooperation on the strategic impact and importance of system architecture and design.

Key Knowledge and Experience:

• Proven experience in solution architecture, particularly in complex, cross-jurisdictional environments.

• Expertise in N-Tier architecture, service-based architecture, and enterprise application design.

• Strong ability to engage and manage stakeholders, negotiate solutions, and resolve complex issues.

• Ability to work independently under broad direction, demonstrating sound professional judgment.

• A deep understanding of the healthcare and government sector’s technological landscape is highly desirable.

• Extensive knowledge of web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture, and end-to-end solution design across various domains (functional, applications, data, integration, infrastructure, and secure enterprise-class systems).

Essential Requirements:

• Australian Citizenship - mandatory

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance

• Ability to obtain and maintain a national police check

In order to be eligible to apply for this role, applicants must have Australian Citizenship in order to obtain an AGSVA Baseline security clearance / already have an existing Baseline or above.
