We're looking for an UI Designer (APS6 equivalent) to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality graphic and UI design projects.

About the Role
As an UI Designer, you’ll work collaboratively with stakeholders to design, test, and evaluate user interface solutions, ensuring they are fit for purpose and align with agency guidelines. You’ll play a key role in supporting myGov design projects, contributing to the digital channel’s image and identity, and ensuring our designs meet both agency and user needs.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist in myGov design projects, working with business owners, project teams, and subject matter experts
• Support the technical team in interpreting the myGov content model
• Develop visuals that promote the myGov digital identity and enhance user experience
• Execute design work aligned with brand standards, analytics insights, and user feedback
• Ensure high-quality design outputs that meet agency and stakeholder expectations

What We're Looking For

• Formal qualifications relevant to design services
• Experience in UI and graphic design
• Knowledge of digital online products in a government setting
• Understanding of Agile project methodology
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe XD, Figma, and Jira
• Ability to perform product testing using online testing resources
